October 11 007Fall is here and time for all kind of end of the garden fruits. In the Spring I gather the fresh sprouts of herbs and load my vinegar jug up. I just go out and enjoy the smell of them and get a big arm full, they smell so good and it makes me hungry for odd things like the late fruits and veggies. You can use the Herbal vinegars on a number of things like the greens we yarn for in the fall. This sauce goes good with just plain white bread, cornbread and of course the salads.
1 cup vinegar
1/4 cup mustard
1/2 cup olive oil
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 Table spoon honey.
For a cucumber salad
